Arcelor Mittal-Petro-Tim: "Wade devrait être traduit en justice...", Seydou Gueye

Pas plus tard qu'hier, Oumar Sarr, Mamadou Diop Decroix et Cie du FPDR sont montés au créneau pour répondre au Premier ministre, Mahammad Dionne qui lave de tout soupçon le président Sall et son frère, Aliou Sall dans le cadre des dossiers Arcelor Mittal et Petro-Tim. Ce, pour répéter leurs accusations et annoncer une plainte contre le régime Sall. Réponse du camp adverse: "Si plainte doit y avoir, elle doit être déposée contre Wade pour avoir dilapider les ressources financières du pays", charge le porte-parole de l'APR. 


"La justice est là pour tout le monde et dans notre pays, elle est là pour trancher les conflits entre citoyens ou entre les acteurs des différents champs politiques et autres...", tonne Seydou Gueye qui parle 'enfantillage". Ce, pour dire sur les ondes de la Rfm que "sur cette question-là, toutes les réponses ont été clairement données", en rappelant que "c'est parce qu'Abdoulaye Wade, à son époque, a vendangé les intérêts du Sénégal que nous avons trouvés des solutions, un pour préserver les richesses nationales et pour les valoriser au profit des populations. 


Cela ne leur plait pas qu'on est cet orientation puisque nous ne sommes pas de ceux qui font des dépenses dispendieuses, qui dilapident les ressources et nous n'avons pas ruiné le pays. Donc, si une plainte doit être déposée, elle devait l'être contre Abdoulaye Wade qui, avec sa clique, a dilapidé toutes les ressources de notre pays et qui, aujurd'hui essaie de comporter en homme de grande vertu" alors que "cela n'amuse personne".

DAKAR, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Kosmos Energy is set to sign a $400 million "farm-in" agreement with Senegal's state-owned hydrocarbon firm Petrosen and Timis Corp to take a 60 percent stake in the Cayar and St. Louis offshore blocks that they operate, a draft Petrosen document seen by Reuters on Saturday showed.

According to the document, Kosmos has committed to drill two exploration wells up to a total value of $240 million. It will then drill a third well, or alternatively a first appraisal well, to a value of another $120 million.

Under the terms of the agreement, Kosmos will have a 60 percent stake in the blocks, Timis Corp 30 percent, and Petrosen 10 percent, the draft document said.

"We believe that the blocks show a very substantial potential and all parties look forward to working together to advance the development of the areas to their maximum potential," Petrosen Director General Mamadou Faye said in the document.

Kosmos has also committed as the new operator to undertake a 3D seismic survey of approximately 7,000 sq km over the two blocks. The seismic survey is expected to start immediately and to take approximately four months.

The New York-listed firm is already present in the region as a shareholder in Ghana's Jubilee oil field and TEN project.

Timis Corp is controlled by Romanian billionaire Frank Timis, who has invested in various sectors in the West Africa region, including iron ore mining in Sierra Leone and manganese exploration in Burkina Faso. (Reporting by Diadie Ba; Writing by Bate Felix; Editing by Kevin Liffey)
